Police Look for Suspect in San Bernardino Hit-and-Run That Left Michael Wilson Dead
San Bernardino, CA (January 15, 2021) – Michael Wilson died in a hit-and-run crash on Lynwood Drive near Golden Avenue on Wednesday night.
The tragic incident took place on January 13 at about 9:25 p.m.
First responders arrived at the scene and provided medical assistance; however, the 39-year-old San Bernardino victim died at the scene.
Later on, the San Bernardino Coroner’s office released Mr. Wilson’s name, following the notification of his family.
The surveillance video captured a speeding truck going east on Lynwood Avenue struck the pedestrian. In the video, the truck continued driving east.
Police said that the truck was a white, early 2000s Nissan Frontier single-cap pickup. Furthermore, the truck probably has damage on its front passenger side.
Moreover, officials released a photo of the vehicle similar to the one in the fatal crash.
