Michael Paul Killed in Tragic Yuma Rollover Crash [Yuma, AZ]

Yuma, AZ (January 31, 2024) On Monday afternoon, a tragic crash near the Fortuna Mine claimed the life of 58-year-old Michael Paul of North Dakota.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, the tragic rollover crash happened on an unmarked trail in the desert near the Fortuna Mine.

Reports say that a westbound 2021 Polaris RZR hits an embankment and rolled over. Paul was a passenger in the Polaris and was thrown out of the vehicle. Officials pronounced Paul dead at the scene.

YCSO is investigating the fatal off-road accident and has not released further information at this time.
