Michael Mejia Sr. Dead in Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway in Ontario
ONTARIO, CA (December 1, 2020) – On Tuesday, 59-year-old Michael Mejia Sr. died after being hit by a semi-truck in an accident on Interstate 10.
Moreover, witnesses reported the fatal accident at around 5:22 AM on November 30.
Apparently, a pedestrian walked along the lanes of the 10 Freeway, west of N Etwinda Avenue.
Shortly after, a big rig struck the man, Mr. Mejia Senior, a resident of Gardena.
Upon arrival of emergency personnel, they pronounced the victim dead at the scene, around 5:43 AM.
Even so, it is currently unclear why Mejia Sr. walked on the lanes of the Interstate.
Ultimately, the California Highway Patrol will continue to investigate the Ontario accident.
