Michael Machado of Denair Involved in Keyes Road Crash Killing 1998 Ford Truck Driver
Denair, CA (April 22, 2021) – On Thursday, Michael Machado, a 38-year-old Denair resident was involved in a horrible truck-tractor crash on Keyes Road.
The fatal accident took place at around 6 a.m. at Downie Road, north of Denair.
A 1998 Ford truck driver was westbound on Keyes Road when an 8-wheel tractor driver pulled out of a property at the south side of the intersection eastbound on Keyes Road.
Reports said that Machado, the tractor driver made a wide turn and partially drove into the westbound lane.
As a result, the tractor’s left side struck the left side of the pickup.
The pickup went out of control and slammed into a telephone pole at the northwest side of the intersection.
The unidentified driver, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident died at the scene.
