Ali Rochelle Giannini Wanted for Questioning after Hit-and-Run Crash on Sidney Road
PORT ORCHARD, WA (July 14, 2018) – A 61-year-old grandfather was killed in a hit-and-run collision on Sidney Road, early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at around 7:00 AM in Pierce County. A surveillance camera caught a white four-door car driving northbound on Sidney road, hitting the man and driving off.
Deputies found Michael Keaton lying on the road, while the car was found in the Midland community south of Tacoma. According to officials, Keaton was walking against traffic in bright clothes and a reflective vest. However, the car drove onto the shoulder and struck him. Investigators want to question 29-year-old Ali Rochelle Giannini about the fatal hit-and-run collision.
Sheriff’s officials of Kitsap County say Giannini may know something about the incident or may have been the driver of the white 2016 Chevrolet Cruze that killed Keaton. Giannini is also wanted on alleged drug charges including possession of methamphetamine and oxycontin. Deputies stated she sometimes goes by the name ‘Brittney.’
Keaton’s family went to look for him when he didn’t come home and are now asking for anyone who knows something about the incident to come forward. Anyone with additional information about this tragic incident is urged to contact Deputy Rob Corn at (360) 337-4634 or by email at [email protected]. Callers may choose to stay anonymous.
