64-Year-Old Man Fatally Hit by a Train at Pullman Avenue
RICHMOND, CA (March 13, 2018) – A man was pronounced dead after getting hit by a Capitol Corridor train on a Tuesday afternoon.
The victim was confirmed to be 64-year-old Michael Douglas Moberly from San Francisco. The incident occurred around 3 PM on the train tracks along Carlson Boulevard at Pullman Avenue.
The area where Moberly was hit did not have designated crosswalks for pedestrians. Emergency personnel the man dead at the scene.
Passengers aboard the San Joaquin train No. 716 were reportedly safe from harm. No other injuries or damages have been reported by officials. Authorities continue to investigate why Moberly was near the tracks and how was he hit by the train. No other information is available at the time.
