Bicyclist Michael David Cooper Dies after Crash on Grant Road in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (March 27, 2023) – On Sunday, 65-year-old Michael David Cooper died in a bicycle crash on Grant Road and Los Altos Avenue.
The fatal crash on Grant Road in Tucson happened just before 9 p.m. on March 24.
TPD said Cooper was hit by a car while riding his bicycle. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The driver of the car immediately stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
EMS rushed him to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He continued to get treatment until Sunday when he passed away.
Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
