Two Killed and Two Injured in Car with Snow Plow in Grays Harbor County
MONTESANO, WA (March 2, 2018) – Around 2:50 AM on Sunday morning, a fatal collision involving a snow plow occurred on State Route 12 at Devonshire Road in Grays Harbor County.
According to reports, two vehicles were traveling westbound on the US 12, a snow plow dump truck and a 1991 Acura Integra. The snow plow, driven by a 50-year-old man, took a U-turn and came into the path of the Acura.
The Integra hit the driver’s side of the snow plow, causing severe damage.
36-year-old Michael William Crow and Michelle Ann Sorensen, 38, were fatally injured in the accident. A 29-year-old woman was flown to the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, while a 28-year-old man was transported to the Tacoma General Hospital for medical treatment. The driver of the snow plow did not suffer any injuries in the incident.
All four occupants inside of the Acura were from Aberdeen, and were all wearing seatbelts.
Trooper Kiesha Conan of the WSP said that Highway 12 was closed at Devonshire Road for about seven hours while officials investigated and transported victims. No other information has been disclosed at this time.
