62-Year-Old Man Dead in Hit-and-Run Accident on West Stockton Boulevard near Kyler Road

 
ELK GROVE, CA (November 24, 2022) – Wednesday morning, authorities arrested Michael Brown after a fatal pedestrian crash on West Stockton Boulevard near Kyler Road.
 
The incident happened at around 5:18 a.m. on West Stockton Boulevard between Kyler Road and Whitelock Parkway.
 
According to the Elk Grove police, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian and then fled the scene.
 
Moreover, paramedics confirmed that the 62-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced dead.
 
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the registered owner of the hit-and-run vehicle, 54-year-old Michael Brown, at his residence. Also, authorities said that Brown will be booked into the Sacramento County main jail on deadly hit-and-run charges and driving under the influence of a drug along with an outstanding warrant or his arrest for another charge of driving under the influence.
 
Meanwhile, the fatal accident remained under active investigation.
