Michael Abrams and Patricia Griffin Hospialized in Rollover Crash North Market Street
Redding, CA (January 13, 2021) – On Tuesday, 69-year-old Michael Abrams and 84-year-old Patricia Griffin were both injured in a rollover crash on North Market Street.
The accident took place at about 11:44 a.m. at the intersection of Benton Drive.
Abrams was driving southbound on North Market Stree when he made a U-turn at Benton Drive.
Then, he accelerated and lost control of his blue 2002 Chevy Silverado. Abrams also struck the raised center median. As a result, rolled over and entered the southbound lanes of traffic.
His vehicle struck a silver 1989 Toyota Tercel being driven by Griffin.
Apparently, Griffin was driving southbound on North Market Street when Abram’s vehicle rolled onto the hood and windshield of her vehicle.
Griffin drove her car to the side of the road after the accident.
Officers said Abrams and Griffen were both wearing seatbelts during the crash.
Similarly, alcohol and or drugs do not appear to be a factor in this accident.
