Napa Resident Seriously Hurt in Hagen Road Traffic Collision
Napa, CA (April 23, 2022) On Thursday afternoon, a Napa resident on a Mercedes-Benz C250 was seriously hurt in a 2-car collision on First Avenue.
Authorities say that around 2 p.m. a Toyota Corolla turned in front of the Mercedes near Hagen Road.
Reports say that the Mercedes drivers sustained serious injuries.
Moreover, paramedics transported the injured motorist to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver sustained minor injuries and did not want to go to a hospital.
When driving, it is important to follow all driving laws and the conditions of the road. If you see any vehicle or driver that looks dangerous, keep your distance.
If you see a vehicle weaving in and out of the lanes, following too closely, or traveling at a higher rate of speed, move over a few lanes and get out of their way.
Drive defensively to ensure the safety of surrounding vehicles, drivers, and pedestrians.
Injuries in While Traveling
California’s road accident rate continues to increase, rather than decrease, despite the additional safety features on newer vehicle models.
The increasing crash rate reflects that auto accidents are a major public health threat. They are a leading cause of death for individuals ages 5-64.
As a matter of fact, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), two out of three motorists will be involved in an injury accident during their life.
That is why it is important to know what to do if you incur a motor vehicle accident like the 2-car collision on First Avenue.
