Afternoon 2-Vehicle Wreck in Menlo Park Leaves One Motorist Injured
MENLO PARK, CA (January 22, 2019) – One person was trapped following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Menlo Park, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 2:06 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, just South of Willow Road on-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Honda Civic was hit by another vehicle and was being dragged until it overturned on its roof.
A female driver of the Honda was found trapped inside the car with injuries.
Menlo Park police and firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the driver. The patient was then transported to Stanford Health Care for treatment.
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
