1 Person Dead in Fresno Auto Accident on 10535 Englehart Avenue

FRESNO, CA (August 24, 2023) – Wednesday morning, authorities arrested Melecio Ayala following a tragic vehicle crash on 10535 Englehart Avenue.

The incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. on Foster Farms at 10535 Englehart Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 40-year-old Ayala entered a company without permission and drove around the private property. Then, the vehicle struck a 25-year-old man who was working for the company. Also, the suspect fled the scene after the collision.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that Ayala self surrendered himself to a CHP officer who was conducting an unrelated traffic stop just a short distance from the scene of the crash.
