Meghan Wautlet Dies in Pacific Coast Highway Motorcycle Crash [Huntington Beach, CA]

Huntington Beach, CA (September 12, 2021) – On Saturday, 22-year-old Meghan Wautlet of Huntington Beach suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle crash on Pacific Coast Highway.

The fatal crash took place at about 8:17 p.m. south of Warner Avenue.

Witnesses said the southbound motorcycle was speeding and was moving erratically on Pacific Coast Highway.

The motorcycle crashed into a northbound vehicle that was making a U-turn south of Warner Avenue.

Wautlet was riding on the motorcycle and died at the accident scene. 

Rescuers took the male motorcyclist to a hospital with serious injuries. Reports said he’s still in treatment Sunday morning.

Meanwhile, officers do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
