Driver Dies in Downieville ATV Crash

Sierra County, CA (June 23, 2022) – On Wednesday morning, Megan McHugh, 35, of Downieville, sustained injuries in a fatal ATV crash on Belle Street.

The paramedics responded to the crash scene, off Highway 49 in Downieville.

Officers confirmed that the 56-year-old male driver lost his life in this accident while the passenger, Megan McHugh incurred injuries.
