Megan Maiorana Dead, Anthony Maiorana Arrested After Crash on Rainbow Valley in Goodyear
Goodyear, AZ (March 23, 2024) – On Friday night, 35-year-old Megan Maiorana died in a DUI crash on Rainbow Valley.
Police rushed to the scene of the crash near Rainbow Valley and Willis roads in Goodyear just before 8 p.m. Friday, where a vehicle had plunged into a lake.
Anthony Maiorana, 35, the vehicle’s driver, managed to escape the vehicle and received treatment at a hospital, as stated by Goodyear police.
Following the crash, a dive team located Megan Maiorana deceased in the vehicle.
Police suspect that alcohol played a role in the incident. At the hospital, officials arrested Anthony, and he was subsequently booked into Maricopa County jail.
He faces multiple charges, including manslaughter, reckless driving, and extreme DUI among other DUI charges.
