Drake Remlinger Killed in Blewett Pass Vehicle Crash

Chelan, WA (August 25, 2024) – 24-year-old Megan Amento of Kirkland was injured following a deadly crash on Blewett Pass Friday night.

It was about 7 p.m. when the fatal crash happened approximately four miles north of the border of Chelan and Kittitas counties.

Troopers said 30-year-old Drake Remlinger of Snohomish was driving too fast for the road condition when he lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle then left the road, rolled down a 30-foot embankment, and rested on its top.

Sadly, Remlinger died at the crash scene and his passenger, Megan Amento, was hurt.

Moreover, investigators said Remlinger was wearing a seatbelt while there is no information if Amento was belted up. Troopers are investigating if DUI was a factor in the collision.

Drake Remlinger was the founder and CEO of The Remlinger Group, a well-known real estate company out of Kirkland, Washington.
