Driver Wanted in SR 8 Multi-Vehicle Crash
Grays Harbor County, WA (November 10, 2024) -Two drivers were injured in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 8 Friday afternoon.
It was about 5:15 p.m. when an unidentified driver was traveling west on the highway toward McCleary.
At the same time, a 65-year-old McCleary man was traveling in the same direction, while a 63-year-old Olympia woman was traveling east.
The unidentified driver changed lanes and crashed into the McCleary driver, who lost control and crashed into the Olympia driver.
Immediately, the rescuers rushed the McCleary man and the Olympia woman to Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma.
Meanwhile, the unidentified driver drove west after the collision and is still at large.
Officers said the driver involved in the SR 8 multi-vehicle crash faces hit and run and failure to yield charges.
