2-Year-Old Maximilian Alamanza Dies in Accident on Buhman Avenue
Napa, CA – Thursday afternoon, a 2-year-old named Maximilian Alamanza died in a motor crash on Buhman Avenue in front of Browns Valley School.
The incident happened before 3 p.m. on August 6.
Napa Police say the child, along with the mother, visited Buhman Park across the street from Browns Valley School. The child suddenly entered the roadway and was struck by a northbound motorcycle.
Medics took Maximilian Alamanza by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center after Napa Fire personnel’s lifesaving efforts at the scene. However, medics pronounced the child dead in the hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver stopped and cooperated with authorities after the collision. Police say the motorist traveling at the 25 mph speed limit near the school. There were no signs of impairment.
