Matthew Lyons of Healdsburg Arrested in DUI Crash on State Farm Drive [Rohnert Park, CA]

Rohnert Park, CA (October 13, 2022) – On Tuesday, the authorities arrested a 31-year-old Healdsburg resident, Matthew Lyons, in a DUI crash on State Farm Drive that injured a 57-year-old Santa Rosa woman.

The incident took place around 8:35 p.m. between Commerced Boulevard and Professional Center Drive involving a white Subaru sedan and a gray Subaru sedan.

Police said the white Subaru entered the southbound lane of State Farm Drive and collided with the southbound gray Subaru.

The gray Subaru rolled on its side trapping the driver inside. Crews freed the driver by passing through the vehicle’s windshield.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed the Santa Rosa woman to the hospital with moderate injuries. 

The authorities arrested the white Subaru driver, Matthew Lyons, for one felony count of DUI resulting in bodily injury and another felony count of DUI resulting in bodily injury with a BAC of over 0.08%.

After being released from the hospital, officers took Matthew Lyons to the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility. Officers are asking anyone with information regarding the crash on State Farm Drive to contact the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety Dispatch at 707-584-2600 and refer to Case #22-4046.
