Santa Maria, CA (November 14, 2023) On Monday morning, a traffic crash on Highway 166 involving a big rig and a car hauler left people injured.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 9 a.m. on Highway 166 west of Tepusquet Road.

Reports say that a semi-truck hauling crude oil collided with a Ford pickup pulling a trailer with 2 vehicles on it,

Officials say that the collision closed Highway 101, in both directions between Highway 101 and Tepusquet Road.

Authorities say that minor injuries were reported in the crash.
