CHP Investigates Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 4

Vine Hill, CA (May 19, 2023) On Thursday evening, a massive collision on Highway 4 involving 3 vehicles left a person dead.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the deadly multi-vehicle crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. on eastbound Highway 4, near the northbound Interstate 680 on-ramp.

Reports say that first responders found 3 vehicles involved in the collision, with 2 vehicles were totally wrecked, in the roadway’s No. 1 or left-most lane.

Officials say that a person was taken to the hospital, however, the person died at the hospital. Details on the person’s identification is not immediately available.

CHP is investigating the deadly multi-vehicle crash.
