Mason Penticoff Dies in 2-Vehicle Crash on Jefferson Avenue [Murrieta, CA]

Murrieta, CA (October 20, 2022) On Thursday morning, 23-year-old Mason Penticoff of Murrieta died in a 2-vehicle crash on Jefferson Avenue.

Authorities say that the fatal collision happened at around 6:10 a.m. about 1,500 feet south of the Guava Street traffic signal.

Murrieta Police Department say that a minivan pulled out of a private driveway from the west side of the road. Consequently, Penticoff collided with the driver’s side of the minivan.

Furthermore, reports say that the minivan attempted to turn left into northbound Jefferson Avenue, while Penticoff was driving south on Jefferson.

Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau pronounced Penticoff dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the minivan driver to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
