1 Person Arrested in Castaic Auto Accident on Lake Hughes Road near Castaic Lake Dam Access
CASTAIC, CA (July 31, 2024) – Monday night, authorities arrested Mason Bremberg after a startling DUI crash on Lake Hughes Road.
The incident happened around 10:35 p.m. on Lake Hughes Road, south of the Castaic Lake Dam Access.
According to CHP Newhall Area Office spokesperson Officer Josh Greengard, a four-door sedan crashed down a 100 feet embankment.
Moreover, responders transported the driver of the vehicle, identified as Bremberg, and his passenger, to a hospital with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, officers arrested and booked Bremberg to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail, for DUI.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
