The incident happened near 67th Avenue and Mountain View Road.
According to reports, a vehicle struck a motorcyclist, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders rushed the motorcyclist, identified as 62-year-old Hawkins, to a hospital with serious head injuries.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the hit-and-run driver with pending charges.
