Martha Inzunza KIlled in 67th Avenue Massive Collision [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (June 6, 2023) On Saturday afternoon, a massive collision on 67th Avenue kills 68-year-old Martha Inzunza and injured 9 others.

According to Phoenix fire officials, the fatal multi-vehicle crash happened at about 12:45 p.m. at the intersection with Camelback Road.

Reports say that the collision involved 5 vehicles. Officials say that 9 adults and a teenager were hospitalized due to the multi-vehicle crash. Medics says that the teenager and 2 adults are listed as critically injured.

Officials say that 2 of the adults were transported to the hospital in serious condition, one of them was identified as 68-year-old Martha Alicia Cervantes Inzunza, who succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital.

Authorities says that the remaining patients are in stable condition.

Authorities say that a northbound vehicle was trying to overtake another vehicle, however, the driver lost control and collided with several northbound vehicles. Consequently, 2 of the vehicles involved crossed the opposite lane and struck 2 southbound vehicles.
