Morongo Valley, CA (April 06, 2021) – On Thursday, Christina Hilton, a 33-year-old Yucca Valley woman, and 40-year-old Martha Blaschek-Miller of Orinda, were injured in a crash on Rose Eden Drive.
 
The Morongo Valley accident happened at 12:25 p.m., wherein Blaschek-Miller suffered minor injuries.
 
Reports said Hilton was driving a black 2008 Porsche Cayenne westbound on the highway and stopped in the turn lane for Rose Eden Drive.
 
Unfortunately, her view of oncoming traffic was partly blocked by the truck in front of her vehicle. She presumed traffic was clear and turned left onto southbound Rose Eden Drive.
 
However, she turned into the path of an eastbound black 2020 Ford Explorer.
 
Then, the front of the Ford struck the right side of the Porsche.
 
Also, it pushed the Porsche to roll over into the desert, and it landed on its roof.
 
Meanwhile, the Ford rested in the right-most lane of eastbound Twentynine Palms Highway.
 
As a result, Blaschek-Miller sustained minor injuries. Immediately, she was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, the Ford driver, 42-year-old Travis Blaschek-Miller, and their three children who were with them were not taken to the hospital. The children were their 10-year-old son, 6-year-old daughter, and 11-month-old son. Luckily, all three children were in the correct child restraints.
 
Hilton incurred minor injuries and refused transportation to the hospital.
