Marten Yokhanna Dead in Car Accident on Escalon-Bellota Road [Escalon, CA]

Marten Yokhanna Fatally Injured in Escalon Vehicular Accident at Escalon-Bellota Road and Lone Tree Road

 
ESCALON, CA (March 28, 2019) – A pedestrian died following a car accident in an Escalon intersection on Tuesday, March 19.
 
According to a local news source, authorities identified the victim as 40-year-old Marten Yokhanna, of Turlock.
 
The fatal collision occurred at around 8:45 a.m. near the intersection of Escalon-Bellota Road and Lone Tree Road.
 
The report said that Yokhanna tried to load a vehicle onto a trailer when for an unknown reason, the vehicle being loaded slipped off the trailer and hit him.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol report, Yokhanna suffered major trauma in the incident. He later died from his head injuries.
 
The crash is still under investigation.
