Pedestrian Fatally Struck on 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (November 22, 2024) On Wednesday evening, 30-year-old Marquis Ray was pronounced dead after a horrific crash on the 110 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the deadly crash happened around 8:35 p.m. on the Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles.
Reports say that the tragic accident claimed the life of 30-year-old Ray.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers responded to the southbound lanes near Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, discovering the pedestrian in the HOV lane.
According to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner, Ray, who was unhoused, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The CHP closed the southbound 110 Freeway for nearly three hours to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
