Marquin Nwude Fatally Struck on East Florence Avenue [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (June 17, 2022) – On Thursday, 29-year-old Marquin Nwude was fatally struck by a stolen vehicle on East Florence Avenue.

Reports say Nwude was walking in a crosswalk when a 41-year-old  woman on a stolen 2002 Toyota Avalon struck him. Nwude was thrown onto the hood and through the windshield.

Unfortunately, Marquin Nwude lost his life at the accident scene.

Also, at least three parked cars sustained damage in the accident wherein one of those cars ended up on its side.

Reports say the cars were towed from the scene.

Moreover, the paramedics took the driver to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Reports say that the authorities were in pursuit of the car earlier. However, the officers backed off and used a police helicopter to track the vehicle. It was just minutes later when the fatal accident took place.

Police will test her for any possible drug or alcohol usage. They expect her to face charges in connection with the stolen vehicle and the pedestrian’s death.
