Marquez Lizardo Arrested in Fatal DUI Crash on West Valley Boulevard [Alhambra, CA]

Police Arrest Marquez Lizardo in West Valley Boulevard Crash

 
Alhambra, CA (March 26, 2021) – On Wednesday, police arrested 22-year-old Marquez Lizardo, a Santa Ana man, in a deadly DUI crash on West Valley Boulevard.
 
Apparently, the vehicle crash happened at about 9:45 p.m. in the 3000 block area.
 
They arrested Lizardo at the scene of the accident and booked him on suspicion of murder and felony driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Later on, they held him on $2 million bail.
 
Meanwhile, Lizardo’s passenger, a 21-year-old woman was taken to a hospital, where she died.
 
However, authorities withheld her identity pending notification of her relatives.
 
Meanwhile, the initial investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling westbound on Valley Boulevard and struck a concrete light pole.
 
Apparently, police detained two adult male subjects at the scene who stated they had been in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
 
Also, officers observed Lizardo’s displayed objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication.
