TEMPLE, TX (November 19, 2024) – Monday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on 5900 North General Bruce Drive killed left Mark Stover, a resident of Washington, dead.

The incident happened around 5:11 a.m. in the 5900 block of North General Bruce Drive, at the Interstate 35 exit ramp.

According to the Temple Police Department, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian who was walking on an Interstate 35 exit ramp.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

The victim was later identified as 51-year-old Mart Stover, of Washington. The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
