Samantha Natalie Herasme Arrested after Fatal DUI Motorcycle Crash in Redondo Beach
REDONDO BEACH, CA (August 11, 2019) – Authorities identified 51-year-old Mark Sean as the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Artesia Boulevard, Sunday evening.
According to the Redondo Beach Police Department, the incident happened at about 6:30 PM. Due to unknown reasons, a motorcycle and a car collided at Artesia Boulevard and Rindge Lane.
Emergency responders found Sean suffering from significant injuries at the scene of the crash. Then, they rushed him to Harbor General Hospital, where he later died.
Meanwhile, authorities arrested the driver, later identified as 31-year-old Samantha Natalie Herasme of Rancho Palos Verdes. They booked her on suspicion of felony vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. On Monday, she was released after posting $100,000 bail at about 9:40 PM.
