Christopher Anthony Perales Involved in Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Crash near near Cuatro Vientos Road
Laredo, TX (January 5, 2024) On Wednesday evening, 15-year-old Mark Manzanares died after a deadly pedestrian crash near Cuatro Vientos Road and Aguanieve.
According to Laredo Police, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened around 7:55 p.m. near Cuatro Vientos and Aguanieve.
Reports say that a 2019 Dodge Charger, driven by 22-year-old Christopher Anthony Perales, allegedly struck Manzanares, who was walking with his 22-year-old brother crossing Cuatro Vientos to get to the convenience store.
Perales stopped to render aid and called 911, officials say that he stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Authorities are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash and have not released additional information at this time.
