Sonciera Royal Died, Mark Grosvenor Arrested After DUI Crash on Highway 160

 
Sacramento, CA (April 18, 2020)– Saturday morning, Mark Grosvenor was arrested after a DUI crash, which killed Sonciera Royal and injured Anthony Jones on Highway 160.
 
The CHP received crash reports at around 10 a.m. on April 18, occurring on Highway 160, just north of Canterbury Road. Dispatched officers and EMS arrived shortly after.
 
Reportedly, a 34-year-old Mark Grosvenor of Rancho Cordova was driving southbound with Royal and Jones. For unclear reasons, he veered off the roadway and head directly into a tree then crashed.
 
Responding paramedics immediately transported all three occupants to a local hospital with severe injuries. However, Royal later died while undergoing treatment.
 
Moreover, Jones’s current condition has not yet updated.
 
At this time, Grosvenor is booked in Sacramento County Main Jail, facing charges of DUI.
 
Furthermore, CHP continues the investigation and is asking anyone with helpful information to call Officer Greg Zumstein or Officer A.J. McTaggart at 916-348-2300.
