Mark Cuevas Dead in Big Rig Accident on Cedar and Mt. Whitney Avenues in Fresno County

Fresno County, CA (October 14, 2021) – Thursday afternoon, Mark Cuevas, 20, died in a semi-truck vs Mercedes crash on Cedar and Mt. Whitney avenues.

The fatal crash in Fresno happened at around 3:30 p.m. on October 14.

CHP officials said the collision involved a big rig and a white Mercedes. The Mercedes driver was ejected from the car and died at the scene. Authorities later identified the decedent as Riverdale man Mark Cuevas.

Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver remained uninjured and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information on the deadly collision is immediately available. 

Further investigation into this fatal Cedar Avenue crash is ongoing.
