Mark Bristol Fatally Hurt after Fresno Motorcycle Accident on Manning Avenue near Maple Avenue
FRESNO, CA (August 14, 2019) – A Parlier High School teacher identified as Mark Bristol died in a motorcycle crash on Tuesday, August 13.
Fresno County Coroner’s Office said 54-year-old Bristol died in the collision at about 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of Manning and Maple avenues.
The California Highway Patrol said that a Jeep traveled east and the same time, the motorcycle driven by Bristol headed west. Then the driver of the Jeep pulled out to make a turn. The motorcyclist didn’t have time to stop, CHP stated.
Witnesses in the area tried to give aid, and then emergency personnel attempted them as well. However, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries.
The staff at Parlier High School confirmed on Facebook that the victim was NJROTC teacher Chief Warrant Officer Mark Bristol.
The CHP said they do not believe that drugs and alcohol played a role in the incident.
