Mark Anderson Dead in Los Alamos Motorcycle Accident on Bell Street by Cat Canyon Road
LOS ALAMOS, CA (June 1, 2021) – Monday afternoon, motorcyclist Mark Anderson, 52, died in a crash on Bell Street near Cat Canyon Road in Los Alamos.
The Los Alamos crash between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle happened just before 4:00 p.m. Moreover, it happened on Bell Street near Cat Canyon Road.
Meanwhile, fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli said that it transpired on the Bell Street offramp from southbound Highway 101.
Mr. Anderson, of Buellton, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Also, personnel from the County Coroner’s Bureau responded to the scene.
On the other hand, Bertucelli confirmed that the sedan driver, Luis Silva Lopez, 21, of Santa Maria, suffered no injuries.
A toxicology report is being processed, but authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed to this fatal accident.
A U-Turn was attempted prior to the collision, and Anderson was ejected from his bike.
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
