Police Arrest 18-Year-Old Mario Lopez after Series of Hit-and-Run Crashes in Woodland
Woodland, CA (October 24, 2020) – A series of hit-and-run crash occurred on East Gum Avenue and Matmor Road on Friday and left Mario Lopez arrested.
The incident occurred on October 23 at around 12:30 a.m.
According to a report, an 18-year-old Woodland resident, Mario Lopez collided with another vehicle near East Gum Avenue and Matmor Road.
Lopez then continued and headed on Farnham Road where he collided with the other five vehicles between Darby Court and Maxwell Avenue.
Witnesses told the police where the suspect headed.
Lopez’s vehicle sustained damages on its right front wheel assembly and control arm due to the crashes. However, police said that Lopez continued driving.
Eventually, police were able to arrest him after stopping at Farnham and Maxwell avenues. Furthermore, officials booked Lopez to Yolo County Jail to face charges including DUI and hit-and-run.
