Gerber, CA (December 7, 2024) On Wednesday morning, 42-year-old Marian Lombera and 61-year-old Leng Seng suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on Gyle Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the multi-car crash happened at about 11:45 a.m. at the intersection with Rawson Road.
Reports say that the multi-vehicle crash left one driver with major injuries.
Authorities say that 46-year-old Melissa Sides from Corning, driving a 2022 Jeep Compass, ran a stop sign on Rawson Road and collided with the rear of a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado.
The Chevrolet, driven by Seng of Chico, veered off Gyle Road, crashed through a fence, and landed in a field. The out-of-control Jeep then struck the front of a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 stopped at the intersection, driven by 49-year-old Roberto Herrera from Kelseyville.
Officials say that Sides sustained major injuries and was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment. Seng and Lombera, a passenger in Herrera’s vehicle, suffered minor injuries.
