Injuries Reported in Temecula Auto Accident on Butterfield Stage Road near Pauba Road
TEMECULA, CA (November 19, 2023) – Friday afternoon, authorities arrested Mariah Reese after a disastrous DUI crash on Butterfield Stage Road near Pauba Road.
The incident happened at around 3:25 p.m. on Butterfield Stage Road near Pauba Road.
According to reports, a northbound 2017 Toyota Corolla attempted to pass a 2017 Bluebird school bus, but its tires struck the curb, lost control, and collided with the side of the bus. Then, the force of the crash pushed the bus into the opposing southbound lane where it collided with a southbound 2017 Toyota Highlander.
Moreover, responders transported two students aboard the bus to Temecula Valley Hospital with minor injuries and its driver to Inland Valley Medical Center with minor to moderate injuries. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Highlander to Temecula Valley Hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
Furthermore, authorities arrested the driver of the Corolla, 28-year-old Reese on suspicion of felony DUI.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
