Injuries Reported in Amarillo Auto Accident on SE 10th Avenue and Taylor Street
AMARILLO, TX (June 12, 2024) – Tuesday morning, authorities arrested Mariah Bustos after an alarming DWI crash on SE 10th Avenue and Taylor Street.
The incident happened at around 3:00 a.m. on SE 10th Avenue and Taylor Street.
According to the Amarillo Police, an eastbound Nissan Altima ran a red light on 10th Avenue and collided with a southbound Amarillo Police car.
Moreover, responders transported an officer and the driver of the Nissan to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the Nissan, identified as 25-year-old Bustos, for DWI.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued investigating the crash.
