Madera, CA (February 13, 2023) On Sunday evening, Maria Villalobos, 19, died after a DUI traffic collision on Avenue 15.

CHP says that the fatal head-on crash happened at about 6 p.m. west of Road 39 1/2.

Reports say that a DUI driver, a 24-year-old Fresno man, collided head-on with Ms. Villalobos’s vehicle; the collision killed her.

At the moment, officials have not released the name of the deceased and other details about the head-on crash.
