Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Collision at Falls Springs Wash
LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ (January 19, 2020) – The authorities confirmed that Maria Ramirez-Rangle and her daughter were killed in a head-on crash on Highway 95 on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Lake Havasu City Police Department, the incident happened at Falls Springs Wash around 3:30 PM.
Reports showed that 38-year-old Maria Ramirez-Rangle drove a white Infinity that collided with a 2001 green Range Rover. As a result, Rover veered left of center and collided head-on with the SUV.
Rangle and her 10-year-old daughter suffered fatal injuries in the collision. However, the young girl had not yet been identified.
Paramedics transported an adult male passenger and two other children, ages 14 and 15, to the hospital with serious injuries. However, police did not release any update on their conditions.
The driver of the Rover is unidentified as a 28-year-old Alaska man. In addition, the Department of Public Safety received reports that he drove erratically minutes prior to the fatal accident.
No further information is provided. However, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
