San Diego, CA (August 21, 2024) – Maria Guadalupe Sanchez, 73, of San Marcos, was killed in a head-on crash on Deer Springs Road Sunday.

It was on August 4 when the Scion sedan Guadalupe Sanchez was driving collided head-on with a pickup truck on Sycamore Drive.

She was transported to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido but her condition steadily worsened and she died 13 days later.

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating this fatal collision.
