Maria De La Cruz Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Bardsley Avenue [TULARE, CA]

71-Year-Old Porterville Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Tulare

 
TULARE, CA (December 9, 2019) – A woman died in a pedestrian crash late Monday afternoon in Tulare, according to police.
 
The fatal crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. in the area of Bardsley Avenue and P Street.
 
Officers arrived in the crash site and located the involved vehicle and the driver, a 26-year-old Tulare man. The pedestrian was also located at the scene with major injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed the woman to an area hospital, where the person was pronounced dead.
 
The victim has been identified as 71-year-old Maria De la Cruz of Porterville.
 
Police are still investigating this fatal incident.
