SELAH, WA (May 22, 2018) – Four people, including an infant, were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a rear-end collision on Interstate 82.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened shortly after 2 PM near milepost 27. A 2006 Cadillac Escalade, driven by 47-year-old Maria Arredondo of Outlook, was heading westbound on I-82. She was slowing down in preparation for the traffic ahead when a 2009 Honda CRV, driven by 46-year-old Sunny Mulholland of Tukwila, rear-ended the Cadillac.
Arredondo and her passengers, 54-year-old Juventino Arredondo-Sanchez of Outlook, and a 2-month-old baby boy, were transported to the Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment of several unspecified injuries they sustained. Mulholland was sent to the Astria Regional Medical Center with undetermined injuries. There is no update on the current medical condition of either person involved.
