Pedestrian Margo Spann Dies in Venice Boulevard and Wilton Place Crash, Suspect at Large
Arlington Heights, CA (March 12, 2021) – Margo Spann, 40, died in a hit-and-run crash on Venice Boulevard and Wilton Place on Thursday.
The fatal incident took place on March 11 around 6:30 a.m. at the Venice Boulevard and Wilton Place intersection.
Police asked for the public’s help in finding the suspect in the incident. According to the report, the suspect’s vehicle struck the pedestrian who was crossing a crosswalk at that time.
The impact of the collision killed the pedestrian. The release of the victim’s identification is being withheld pending notification of the next-of-kin.
Meanwhile, officers describe the involved vehicle as a Chevrolet Silverado with an extended cab. It had a front left, black wheel, and rear left, factory alloy wheel. Furthermore, police said that the vehicle possibly sustained damages to its left side.
