31-Year-Old Mentone Bicyclist Fatally Injured in Accident near Crafton Avenue
MENTONE, CA (August 18, 2018) – A bicyclist was killed early Saturday morning, following a crash on Highway 38. The California Highway Patrol identified the victim as 31-year-old Marcos White of Mentone.
According to officials, White was riding on his bicycle at Crafton Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle at approximately 1:51 AM. Event leading up to the collision and a description of the vehicle were not immediately released.
Responding medics transported the victim to the Loma Linda University Medical Center by ambulance, in critical condition. White later succumbed to his severe injuries and was pronounced dead at 1:59 PM. No additional injuries were reported in the incident.
Other details regarding the fatal collision have not yet provided to the public at this time.
