Marcos Figueroa Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Indiana Avenue [Riverside, CA]

Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Indiana Avenue near Jackson Street

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (August 19, 2019) – Authorities identified 20-year-old Marcos Figueroa of Riverside as the man killed in a hit-and-run crash near Jackson Street, Monday evening.
 
According to the Riverside Police Department, the incident happened in the 8900 block of Indiana Avenue, at about 8:25 PM. Figueroa attempted to cross the street when an eastbound vehicle hit him.
 
Emergency responders transported the victim to Riverside Community Hospital, where he later died. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle immediately fled the area.
